Team Liquid Philippines is approaching the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship with cautious optimism, emphasizing adjustments and preparation over past success as significant patch changes loom ahead of esports’ premier international event.

Team Liquid PH is one of two Philippine teams set to compete at M7, the Mobile Legends World Championship scheduled for later this month, following their strong domestic run and SEA Games 2025 gold medal performance with the national side SIBOL.

The offseason patch affected hero strength, item priorities, and team compositions, alterations that have reshaped competitive MLBB and rendered previous frameworks less reliable. 

Analysts note that such adjustments can elevate certain playstyles while diminishing others, creating a dynamic landscape in which adaptability is essential.

As reigning powerhouses on the world stage,  Philippine teams have claimed five of six M-Series world titles entering M7; the pressure is on for Team Liquid to uphold the nation’s reputation.

Team Liquid’s lineup for M7 includes Kiel Calvin “Oheb” Soriano alongside Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Alston “Sanji” Pabico, and Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz, a core that blends seasoned performers with rising talent.

For Oheb, the ultimate goal is to reach the championship match, ideally setting up a Philippines vs. Philippines final against fellow MPL PH side Aurora Gaming, a repeat of one of the most compelling domestic rivalries forged during the MPL Philippines Season 16 Grand Finals.

Team Liquid will open their M7 campaign against Aurora Gaming PH in the Swiss Stage before facing other top regional contenders, including powerhouse ONIC.
