Team Secret goes all-out on Asian rebuild led by Filipino head coach

Team Secret has officially announced a revamped lineup and coaching structure for its Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific 2026 campaign, blending talent from across Asia and elevating a Filipino coach to lead the main squad.

Team Secret struggled to find consistent form last year, ultimately finishing near the bottom of the standings in multiple stages of the VCT Pacific, prompting the organization to reassess its competitive direction.

Among the new signings is veteran player Kim “TenTen” Tae-young, a duel-focused competitor with previous experience in Japan’s top VALORANT circuits. His addition brings a proven high-impact playstyle to the team’s firepower.

Joining TenTen is Rizkie “BerserX” Adla Kusuma, a seasoned professional who spent several seasons with BOOM Esports and has showcased versatility at high levels of regional competition.

Complementing the international additions is the retention of core players from past seasons. Kelly “kellyS” Sedillo returns to the active roster, bringing site-control skills and tactical flexibility, while Ko “Sylvan” Young-sub remains anchored in his role, adding stability and strategic execution to Team Secret’s gameplay.

In a noteworthy coaching decision, Team Secret has appointed Filipino veteran Jose “Rbtx” Jamir as head coach of the main VCT squad. Rbtx, who previously guided Team Secret Academy, now steps up to steer the senior roster after demonstrating his leadership in developing emerging talent. 

The Academy program, which has previously featured a pipeline of young prospects from Southeast Asia, remains active and continues to play a key developmental role for Team Secret’s broader ecosystem.
