Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is wearing a different shade of orange this time — but his fire remains the same.

The three-time PBA Best Import, who became synonymous with TNT’s championship success, has officially joined the Meralco Bolts as one of their reinforcements for the upcoming 2025–26 East Asia Super League (EASL) campaign.

Hollis-Jefferson was spotted in Meralco practice on Tuesday, head coach Luigi Trillo confirmed, marking his first session with a team he once battled fiercely against.

The former NBA forward arrived in the Philippines earlier this week and even took part in TNT’s fans’ day on Monday — a sign of how deeply connected he remains to the franchise he helped turn into a dynasty.

Now, he’s bringing that same energy and championship pedigree to another MVP Group squad with lofty ambitions.

Meralco has yet to break through to the EASL semifinals in its three previous outings, but Hollis-Jefferson’s arrival could change that narrative. “RHJ” is coming off a stellar run that saw him deliver two PBA championships for the Tropang 5G last season, earning Finals MVP honors and the respect of fans across the league for his relentless play and leadership.

Joining him in Meralco’s EASL roster is another familiar face — Barangay Ginebra’s beloved import and Gilas Pilipinas mainstay Justin Brownlee, who will suit up as the team’s naturalized player.

Together, they form one of the most potent import tandems in the regional circuit, a blend of athleticism, scoring, and basketball IQ rarely seen in a single squad.

Puerto Rican national team standout Ismael Romero rounds out the Bolts’ import trio, adding size and physicality to a roster that looks built for a deep EASL run.

For Hollis-Jefferson, though, this new challenge is more than just another tour of duty — it’s an opportunity to expand his legacy beyond the PBA hardwood. After lifting TNT to multiple titles, he now aims to elevate another MVP franchise to international prominence.

And if history is any indication, when RHJ joins the charge, winning usually follows.
