Pilipinas Aguilas complete unbeaten run to win Thailand 3×3 International League

Pilipinas Aguilas left no doubt about their dominance in Bangkok.

The Philippine squad completed a flawless campaign to capture the 3×3 Basketball Thailand International League 2026 title, edging Singapore, 14-12, in a tightly contested final at Alive Park Hall over the weekend.

With the victory, the Aguilas capped a perfect two-day run, sweeping all six of their games in the tournament.

The team of Mikka Cacho, Camille Malagar, Elizabeth Means, and Trina Guytingco showcased both grit and consistency throughout the competition, surviving a tense championship clash to seal the crown.

Pilipinas Aguilas, coached by Paolo Layug, controlled the tournament from the start, finishing on top of Pool B after sweeping their three preliminary assignments.

They opened their campaign with a convincing 17-10 win over CT U20 before overpowering Singapore, 21-12, and Sarawak Tay Motors, 21-8, to advance to the knockout stage with momentum firmly on their side.

The Philippine side carried that rhythm into the playoffs.

Pilipinas Aguilas first dispatched Sriracha Eagle, 13-7, in the quarterfinals before overcoming Selangor Est Jersey, 16-12, in the semifinals to book a rematch with Singapore for the championship.

The final proved to be the toughest test for the Aguilas, with Singapore pushing them until the final moments. But the Filipinas held their composure down the stretch to escape with the two-point victory and secure the title.

The team is owned by Luis Dela Paz, while Guytingco also serves as the squad’s team manager.
