NBA unveils groups, schedule for Emirates NBA Cup 2025

The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced the groups and fixtures for the Emirates NBA Cup 2025 in the early hours of Thursday, July 10 (Philippine Standard Time).

All 30 teams were randomly drawn into groups of five within their respective conferences, based on their win-loss records from the 2024–25 NBA season. As per the rules, each team will play four Group Play games on designated “Cup Nights”—one game against each opponent in their group. From the 30 teams, eight will advance to the knockout rounds.

The 2025 edition of the NBA Cup will tip off on October 31, with group fixtures running through November 28. The quarterfinals are scheduled for December 9 and 10, followed by the semifinals on December 13 in Las Vegas. The final/championship game will also be held in Las Vegas on December 16.

The groups are set for the Emirates NBA Cup 2025.

The Milwaukee Bucks are the defending champions, having defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in last year’s final. Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the NBA Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP).
