Wizards escape Blazers at home 

The Washington Wizards pulled off a heart-stopping 115-111 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in a back-and-forth contest. Anthony Sarr led the Wizards with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocks, while Shai Sharpe poured in 31 points for Portland. Despite Sharpe’s efforts, the Wizards’ balanced attack in the fourth quarter allowed them to seal the victory. 

New York routs Kings despite DeRozan’s 34 points

Over in New York, the Knicks flexed their home-court advantage with a 103-87 win over the struggling Sacramento Kings. DeMar DeRozan scored 34 points for Sacramento, but Jalen Brunson’s 28 points powered the Knicks’ decisive second-half surge, handing the Kings their 20th loss of the season. 

Vintage Paul George drops 32 against Bucks in win 

The high-octane matchup in Philadelphia saw the 76ers outscore the Bucks 139-122 in a scoring explosion. Paul George led the 76ers with 32 points hitting a 9-for-15 shooting clip from three-point range, while Myles Turner contributed 31 points for Milwaukee. Philadelphia’s offensive firepower proved too much for the Bucks despite a valiant effort from Turner, allowing the 76ers to extend their home success.

Thunder assert dominance versus Pelicans 

In Oklahoma City, the Thunder narrowly edged the New Orleans Pelicans 104-95. Chet Holmgren’s stat line of 20 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks highlighted OKC’s defensive intensity, while Zion Williamson posted a double-double of 21 points and 11 boards for New Orleans. 

Pistons edge Nuggets in home-court thriller 

Detroit Pistons pulled off a narrow 109-107 victory against the Denver Nuggets in another tight encounter. Cade Cunningham led the way for the Pistons with 22 points and 11 assists, overcoming Jamal Murray’s 24 points and 10 assists in a back-and-forth duel that came down to the final minutes. 

Suns survive Nets with balanced effort 

The Phoenix Suns, despite being short-handed, overcame the Brooklyn Nets 106-102 in a game marked by a late fourth-quarter scuffle. Mark Williams tallied 27 points, Dillon Brooks added 26, and the Suns held off Brooklyn’s top scorer, Michael Porter Jr., who finished with 36 points. 

Clippers claim another victory at the expense of Jazz 

Finally, the Los Angeles Clippers posted a 115-103 win over the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center. Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Clippers with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Lauri Markkanen contributed 19 points for Utah. The Clippers’ balanced scoring across all quarters allowed them to pull away in the second half.
