NBA fans wasted little time in making their voices heard as the league released the first round of fan-voting results for the 2025–26 NBA All-Star Game on Monday. Unsurprisingly, the game’s biggest stars are leading the early returns.

Los Angeles Lakers standout Luka Dončić emerged as the leading vote-getter overall, topping the Western Conference with 1,249,518 votes. Close behind him in the West are Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić with 1,128,962 votes, Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry with 1,031,455, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 878,621, and San Antonio Spurs phenom Victor Wembanyama with 769,362.

In the Eastern Conference, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo sits atop the leaderboard with 1,192,296 votes. He is followed by Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (1,072,449), New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson (1,040,601), Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (1,000,171), and Cleveland Cavaliers standout Donovan Mitchell (851,155).

Fan voting conducted through the NBA App and NBA.com using an NBA ID accounts for 50 percent of the total vote in selecting All-Star starters. The remaining 50 percent is split evenly between current NBA players and a media panel, each contributing 25 percent. This season, All-Star selections will be made without regard to position.

Voting momentum is expected to intensify on Tuesday, December 30, which marks the league’s next “3-for-1 Day,” when each fan vote will count three times. The NBA is scheduled to release its next fan-voting update on January 6.

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will also feature a revamped format. Two teams composed of U.S. players and one team of international players — known as the World team — will compete in a round-robin tournament consisting of four 12-minute games.

All-Star Weekend festivities will begin on February 15, 2026, at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, the home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
