The Magnolia Hotshots are anticipating the debut of San Beda Red Lions star Yukien Andrada following the trade of Joseph Eriobu to Terrafirma Dyip.
Team governor Jason Webb revealed to SPIN.PH that the Hotshots had to free up roster space for Andrada, thus trading the former fourth overall pick in the 2016 PBA draft.
Andrada, who is in the midst of a Finals run with San Beda, is expected to give size and spacing to the Hotshots roster that already boasts a big man core of Zavier Lucero, Ian Sangalang, and James Laput.
The San Beda Red Lion was drafted sixth overall in the recent draft and is the brother of former PBA player Yutien Andrada.

Meanwhile, Eriobu, who is averaging 3 points per game, will bolster a Dyip roster looking to rebuild.
The 33-year-old is also representing the Philippines in the men’s 3×3 basketball event in the ongoing 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
Web also clarified that Eriobu had been notified of the trade before he left for the SEA Games in Thailand.
