Meanwhile, San Miguel Beer advanced after dispatching the NLEX Road Warriors on Christmas Day, securing their Final Four berth behind a balanced offensive attack and the continued dominance of franchise cornerstone June Mar Fajardo. 

The nine-time PBA MVP recorded a staggering 26 points and 23 rebounds in the quarterfinal clash, helping the Beermen avoid a do-or-die scenario.

San Miguel’s advancement further reinforces its legacy as a perennial contender, having carried its strong elimination-round performance into the playoffs—a consistency that has defined the franchise for years.
