Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao’s search for his next fight just got more extensive as two-time world champion Amir Khan has put his name in the hat.
Khan, who last fought in 2022, revealed that he would be open to facing the Filipino icon if Pacquiao were willing to face him in the ring.
“It depends on the dancing partner. If it’s a dancing partner that I think I could do well against or I know well, then yeah. Like a Manny Pacquiao, we’ve sparred with each other so many times,” Khan said.
Khan is a former Welterweight world champion, having won against Zab Judah, Marco Antonio Barrera, and Marcos Maidana.
At his peak, Khan was considered the most dangerous fighter, thanks to his speed and accuracy. He eventually finished his career with a record of 34 wins and six losses, including 21 knockouts.

During his time at Welterweight, many fans speculated that he would eventually face Pacquiao, who was at the top of the rankings during Khan’s come-up.
However, despite Khan’s interest, Pacquiao has previously said that he would be carefully picking his next final fights, preferably a world title bout.
World Boxing Association (WBA) world champion Rolly Romero is currently the frontrunner, as well as former Pacquiao rival Floyd Mayweather Jr.
