Filipinas unveil bold new adidas era as Philippine football levels up ahead of 2025 SEA Games

A new chapter in Philippine women’s football officially began Thursday, as the Filipinas stepped into a fresh era—one stitched not just in fabric, but in long-term ambition.

In front of fans gathered at the SM Mall of Asia, adidas introduced the national team’s 2025–2026 kits, marking the apparel giant’s most visible commitment yet to the sport’s rapid rise in the country.

The moment doubled as a celebration of what the Filipinas have become: a symbol of possibility, pride, and a future that continues to brighten.

The kits—royal blue at home and crisp white away—carry design cues meant to echo a modern identity.

Red side panels cut through the silhouette, gold crests and stripes crown the look, and on the upper back sits a gold sun, a signature element that adidas describes as “a tribute to the light and inspiration the team brings to fans and future athletes.”

But the launch wasn’t simply about a new uniform. It was also about expanding football’s footprint in the Philippines.

“This partnership with adidas is a game-changer for Philippine football,” said Philippine Football Federation (PFF) president John Gutierrez.

“The Filipinas have shown the world what our athletes are capable of, and with adidas’ support, we’re building the infrastructure and culture to ensure that football continues to thrive—from grassroots to the global stage.”

In a tangible push toward that vision, a portion of every kit sale will flow directly to the PFF—funding youth programs, widening access, and fueling the next generation of aspiring Filipina footballers.

The unveiling also doubled as the grand opening of the adidas Football Store beside the MOA Sky Football Pitch—the first football-specialized adidas store in Southeast Asia. The timing is symbolic: just weeks before the Filipinas fly to Thailand for the 2025 Southeast Asian Games.

With a retail price of PHP 3,800, the new kits drop exclusively at the MOA adidas Football Store on November 27, followed by a wider nationwide release on December 15 across adidas Brand Center Glorietta, Two Parkade, Trinoma, Uptown Mall, Venice Grand Canal Mall, and BOOTCAMP outlets both in-store and online.

For the Filipinas, the jersey is more than a uniform. It’s a commitment to the path they’ve carved and to the young athletes who will follow it. In their new colors, they’ll step onto the SEA Games pitch next month wearing not just redesigned kits—but renewed purpose.
