Filipino standouts delivered a mix of strong performances and tough losses in another busy night in the 2025–26 Japan B.League season on Wednesday.
Dwight Ramos led the charge, helping Levanga Hokkaido extend its winning streak to five games after a tight 95-93 victory over the Saga Ballooners at Hokkai Kitayell. Ramos finished with 20 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal, lifting Hokkaido to a 12-4 record.
In Ota, AJ Edu powered the Gunma Crane Thunders to a dominant 94-70 blowout of the Ibaraki Robots. Edu posted six points, seven rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block, as Gunma claimed its sixth straight win to improve to 10-6.

Over in Shiga, Francis Lopez and the Fighting Eagles Nagoya bounced back with a 92-69 win against the Shiga Lakes. Lopez contributed seven points, two rebounds, and an assist, helping Nagoya climb to 6-10.
But not all Filipinos ended the night with victories.
Despite a 20-point outing from Ray Parks, Osaka Evessa fell 93-86 to the Ryukyu Golden Kings at Daishin Arena. Parks also had four rebounds and two steals, but Osaka dropped to 6-10.
Meanwhile, Kiefer Ravena and the Yokohama B-Corsairs absorbed a 75-65 defeat to the Akita Northern Happinets. Ravena was limited to six points, three assists, and two rebounds, as Yokohama slid to 5-11.
The action continues this weekend as Filipino imports look to build on their momentum — or bounce back from tough outings — in the ongoing B.League season.
