The Cignal HD Spikers are wasting no time in fortifying their roster for a formidable title defense in the upcoming 2025 Spikers’ Turf conferences. The reigning champions have officially announced the signing of four promising talents, headlined by collegiate standouts Vince Maglinao and Jayrack Dela Noche.

Joining Maglinao and Dela Noche in Cignal’s renewed push for dominance are middle blocker KC Andrade and Fil-Canadian libero Lhexen Rabit. These new additions signal Cignal’s intent to extend their impressive run, having already captured the last three Spikers’ Turf crowns.

Head coach Dexter Clamor expressed his excitement over the new acquisitions, stating, “We’re always looking for ways to improve, and with these additions, we’re set to defend our title in the upcoming conferences. The Cignal HD brand of excellence will continue to shine through.”

New Faces, Renewed Drive:

  • Jayrack Dela Noche (Opposite Spiker): A highly-touted recruit from the University of Santo Tomas, Dela Noche brings an impressive collegiate resume. He was recognized as the Best Opposite Spiker in UAAP Season 85 and played a pivotal role in the Golden Spikers’ back-to-back runner-up finishes in Seasons 85 and 86. His experience with the Philippine national team in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games also adds a valuable international dimension to Cignal’s attack.

  • Vince Maglinao (Outside Hitter): Hailing from De La Salle University, Maglinao transitions to the professional ranks after a decorated collegiate career. He was instrumental in the Green Spikers’ 2023 V-League championship and consistently contributed to their UAAP Final Four appearances from Seasons 85 to 87. Maglinao’s reunion with former college teammate JM Ronquillo in Cignal is expected to bring a familiar chemistry to the pro court.

  • KC Andrade (Middle Blocker): Andrade arrives with a winning pedigree, having helped the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA capture back-to-back NCAA men’s volleyball titles. He was named the Second Best Middle Blocker in NCAA Season 99 and boasts three PUVL championships, adding a strong defensive presence and championship mentality to the HD Spikers.

  • Lhexen Rabit (Libero): The Fil-Canadian libero brings an international flair to Cignal’s floor defense. A former OUA Eastern Conference First-Team All-Star from Toronto Metropolitan University and Queen’s University in Canada, Rabit’s cerebral approach and solid passing are expected to fill the void left by Sandy Montero, who recently announced his retirement.

With these strategic signings, the Cignal HD Spikers are sending a clear message to the rest of the league: they are more than ready to face the challenges ahead and aim for an unprecedented fourth consecutive Spikers’ Turf title. The upcoming 2025 Spikers’ Turf season, slated to kick off in October, promises to be an exhilarating showcase of men’s volleyball, with Cignal poised to continue its reign.
