Blackwater Bossing has officially signed forward Ximone Sandagon to a one-year rookie maximum contract, the team announced on Monday.
Sandagon, a 6-foot-4 forward, was the 15th overall pick by Blackwater in the PBA Season 50 Draft but first fulfilled his prior commitment with the Quezon Huskers in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), where he helped the club finish as runner-up in the recent season.
The signing was formalized in the presence of Sandagon’s agent, Edgar Mangahas, and Blackwater team manager Johnson Martinez, marking Sandagon’s entry into the PBA.

Sandagon completed his final collegiate season with FEU Tamaraws during UAAP Season 85 before moving to the MPBL, where he also won a Pilipinas Super League (PSL) title with the Quezon Titans.
During the 2025 MPBL season, the 26-year-old Camarines Sur native averaged 6.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 19 minutes per game, showcasing his potential at the professional level.
Blackwater expects Sandagon to add size and depth to its frontcourt rotation, joining established big men such as Christian David, Richard Escoto, and Abu Tratter as the Bossings look to strengthen their lineup for the upcoming PBA campaign.
