Adidas, Titan bring Gilas Pilipinas closer to fans with customizable merch

Gilas Pilipinas fans are getting the chance to wear their pride more personally than ever, as adidas and Titan have teamed up to roll out customizable Gilas jerseys and a new line of fan merchandise.

The initiative, launched Monday at Titan Fort’s Design Studio, marks the latest step in adidas’ partnership with the national team. Since taking over as Gilas’ official outfitter earlier this year, the global sportswear giant has suited up both the men’s and women’s squads in their new kits at the 2025 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup and the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup.

Now, the focus has shifted to the sixth man — the Filipino fans.

“We wanted to make it really accessible to fans,” said Gabby Dario, adidas Brand Communications and Membership Manager. “Of course, given the timelines, we were able to release the jerseys just in time for the Asia Cup. But, you know, going through all of these tournaments that Gilas gonna have over the past next few months, next few years, we want to make sure that there are options for fans.”

The new collection offers more than just jerseys with personalized names and numbers. Supporters can also get their hands on a full range of fan gear — including shirts, jackets, polo shirts, and drifit sandos — all proudly carrying the Gilas Pilipinas branding.

With the national teams bracing for a packed calendar highlighted by the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, adidas believes the timing of the launch is perfect. Partnering with Titan ensures that the merchandise remains rooted in the local basketball culture that has made Gilas Pilipinas a true symbol of Filipino pride.

For now, the merchandise — including the custom jerseys — is only available in the Philippines, but adidas hinted at bigger plans on the horizon.

“We will be announcing something for fans overseas. Of course, we want to be able to release it over the next few months, years, in places where there’s so many Filipinos,” Dario shared. “But we’re really excited to announce that soon you will see it overseas.”

The move recognizes the global reach of Filipino basketball fandom, with overseas communities often filling arenas wherever Gilas plays.

Currently, fans can head to Titan Fort’s Design Studio for jersey customization, while the fan merchandise line is available across adidas stores, online, and other Titan outlets nationwide.

As adidas and Titan open new ways for supporters to rally behind the national team, Gilas Pilipinas is already gearing up for its next big test: the first window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers this November.
