NLEX Road Warriors take Season 50 send-off to the fans at SM Clark

Breaking tradition, the NLEX Road Warriors are bringing their season send-off outside company grounds for the very first time, choosing to celebrate with fans at SM City Clark ahead of the PBA’s milestone 50th season.

The “Arangkada Send-Off” will take place on Friday, September 26, at the mall’s Events Center — a major shift from the team’s usual venue inside the NLEX compound in Balintawak.

“We want to bring NLEX closer to our fans. During the off-season, we held programs from youth camps to coaching clinics, and this send-off is the culmination of it all,” said team governor Ronald Dulatre.

The Road Warriors will use the occasion to present their official roster for the Philippine Cup, which tips off on October 5. They are also set to introduce their muse for the opening ceremony, adding to the excitement of the fan-focused program.

Aside from the formalities, supporters can expect interactive activities and a chance to engage directly with the players. For veterans like guard Robert Bolick, the event holds special meaning.

“Malaking bagay ito sa amin na makita namin ang aming pinaglalaban at para mas mapalapit pa sa ating mga kababayan sa Norte,” Bolick shared.

By taking the send-off to the fans, NLEX signals its intent to make Season 50 not just a milestone for the PBA, but a celebration shared with the basketball community that fuels the team’s spirit.
