MPL PH: Twisted Minds return to win column after sweep of AP.Bren

Twisted Minds bounced back after a recent rough stretch with a 2-0 sweep over AP.Bren in Week 5 of the MPL Philippines Season 16 at the Green Sun Hotel on Sunday, Sept. 21.

In the opening match, Twisted Minds mounted a comeback led by Lance “Lansu” Misa, who catapulted his team to secure the first game after a three-man stun during a turret siege.

Twisted Minds took over in the second game as Mico “Nosia” Guevarra led the siege using Harith en route to a quick victory in 14 minutes to end the weekend on a high note after losing to Team Falcons, 2-1, on Saturday.

SWEEP AFTER SWEEP 🧹

Twisted Minds and Team Liquid Philippines dispatched their respective opponents, AP.Bren and TNC Pro Team, with 2-0 sweeps to conclude the MPL Philippines Season 16 Week 5 campaign on a positive note.

The Saudi Arabia-owned team moved up to fourth place in the standings as the last team to have a winning percentage over .500 with a 5-4 record, while AP.Bren dropped further down in seventh place with a 3-6 slate.

Aurora remained on top with a win against the Falcons on Friday, while ONIC Philippines took hold of solo second place following a win against third-seeded Team Liquid PH.

Twisted Minds will look to build on their momentum at the same venue against Smart Omega on Saturday, Sept. 27.
