The draw came after the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) recently announced the decision to remove Victorias City from hosting duties due to logistical reasons.

The tournament’s format will remain the same as the 16 teams will battle it out in the group and knockout stages, which will be held in Pasig.

This will be the Philippines’ second World Cup this decade after competing in the 2023 Women’s World Cup, when they captured their historic first World Cup win against hosts New Zealand courtesy of striker Sarina Bolden.
