Quentin Millora-Brown’s status as a Gilas Pilipinas Player for the 2025 Southeast Asian Games is still in the air as scheduling issues prevent the big man from fully committing.
Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) executive director Erika Dy revealed that talks are underway but the 6-10 big man has yet to finalize his decision.
“Coach Norman (Black) has been in touch with him, but as of now, there’s no commitment yet from him,” said Dy. “It’s more of a scheduling issue, so we’ll have to wait,” Dy said during a Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum on Tuesday.

However, Millora-Brown is expected to suit up for Gilas in November for the upcoming 2027 Fiba World Cup Asian Qualifiers. The November window aligns with Millora-Brown’s current squad, the Macau Black Bears’ break.
The former University of the Philippines Fighting Maroon was recently naturalized as a local player, unlike fellow international player Bennie Boatwright, whose naturalization process is in the midst of hearings.
QMB averaged 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in the United States’ NCAA before being a pivotal part in UP’s championship in Season 87. According to Gilas head coach Tim Cone, he is expected to be long-time Gilas big Japeth Aguilar’s successor.
Millora-Brown was born in the United States, with his maternal grandparents having immigrated from the Philippines to New York.
