Stephen Loman challenged by former BRAVE CF Bantamweight champion

A former BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) champion has wasted no time calling out Stephen Loman after the Filipino fighter officially re-signed with the promotion.

Loman inked a multi-bout deal with BRAVE CF in early December, returning to the organization after parting ways with ONE Championship.

Now it’s Nicholas Hwende, a former BRAVE CF Bantamweight world champion, who’s issued a direct challenge, calling for a cage showdown with Loman.

“He’s a veteran in the business, and I would love to welcome him with open arms and also share the cage with him one day,” Hwende said.

“With me, [he’s] just another boy that I just need to beat up. I don’t see him like anyone different. It’s nothing big about it. He’s just another guy,” he added.

Loman is a former BRAVE CF Bantamweight champion and the first Filipino to win a world title under the promotion.

He held the title for 1,179 days with four successful defenses, remaining undefeated in BRAVE CF with a 6-0 record inside the cage before departing for ONE Championship.

Meanwhile, Hwende captured the BRAVE CF Bantamweight title at BRAVE CF 91, following three straight wins in the promotion.

Although he lost the title to current champion Borislav Nikolić earlier this year, he remains a top contender in the bantamweight division.

“To fight someone like him will raise my status. So yeah, I want to be the one to welcome him,” he said.
