Pinay-stacked Xipto Esports bounce out early in VALORANT Game Changers Championship

Xipto Esports, heavily powered by Filipina talent, bowed out without a win in the 2025 VALORANT Game Changers Championship in Seoul, South Korea.

Despite their dominance earlier this year, including a sweep to win the VCT 2025 Game Changers Pacific regional title, the team was eliminated in their first match in the lower bracket.

Their early exit comes as a stark contrast to their dominant Pacific run, where the team, featuring key Filipino players Leanne “Grahams” Ti-in, Loraine “Kon” Pagente, Kim “PIETY” De Guia, and Mary “capriciouS” Sabado, powered through the bracket to claim the title.

Ninetails (PAC), Xipto Esports GC (PAC), and Nova Esports GC (CN) have all been eliminated from the VALORANT Game Changers Championship.

Xipto’s campaign began with a 0–2 loss to Karmine Corp GC, sending them straight to the elimination bracket. 

In a tense do-or-die match against Ninetails, the Filipino squad showed flashes of brilliance by starting strong on Pearl with a 3–0 run,  but the Korean side rattled off 12 consecutive rounds to take the map 13–4. 

On Bind, Xipto fought back. They led 8–4 at the half, riding that momentum into the second half to even the series with a decisive 13–8 win. 

But on Split, Ninetails proved too much. The Koreans surged to a 0–5 lead and never looked back, closing the map 13–5 and knocking Xipto out of the tournament.

With this loss, Xipto GC becomes one of the first teams eliminated from the Game Changers Championship, placing them at 9th–10th and ending their hopes in the $500,000 global event.
