Osaka took the opening set 25–18, showcasing a well-rounded offensive strategy led by Japanese stalwarts Yuji Nishida and Shoma Tomita, who both finished with 13 points.
Sakai bounced back in the second set, winning 25–20 and demonstrating the competitiveness of the match.
Bagunas’ entry coincided with Bluteon regaining momentum in the third set, which they captured 25–17, and ultimately closed out the match 25–18 in the fourth set.
