Islay Bomogao stays unbeaten following KO win at ONE Friday Fights 134

Filipina Muay Thai sensation Islay Erika Bomogao remained perfect in her ONE Championship career after delivering a second-round knockout victory over Ploychompoo Phabai at ONE Friday Fights 134 in Bangkok.

The bout, held at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on November 21, saw Bomogao overwhelm her Thai opponent with a relentless onslaught of strikes.

The Filipina dropped Ploychompoo with a sharp straight right in the opening round, then sealed the deal in just 47 seconds of the second round with a punishing body shot–right hand combination.

This win marks her fourth consecutive victory in ONE, and her second straight stoppage.

“I’m feeling incredible. Honestly, I didn’t expect to finish it that early, but I’m glad I did,” she said.

“Boxing is definitely something that we’ve always been working on. And I think we Filipinos are always blessed with hands, right?? She added.

Beyond the win, Bomogao received a THB 350,000 performance bonus (P634,826).

Her red-hot run in ONE isn’t new. Earlier this year, she scored a first-round knockout over Nerea Rubio at ONE Friday Fights 111, finishing that fight in just 1 minute and 5 seconds.

With her undefeated streak now at 4–0 in ONE’s Muay Thai division, Bomogao is rapidly positioning herself as a serious contender.
