Blacklist International secured its place in the Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC) 2025 knockout stage with a dominant 3–0 sweep over Indonesia’s Vesakha Esports in the Group A upper-bracket finals.
The Codebreakers began the series with a fiery 19-minute Game 1, where Chammy “Chammy1” Nazarrea, playing Biron, turned the tide with a crucial double kill that helped his team shatter Vesakha’s base.
In Game 2, both sides traded blows early, but Blacklist took over after Iqbal “Bal” Khan faltered in a late-game push, handing Blacklist a 2–0 match point.
Charles “Chazz” Esguerra delivered for the Codebreakers with a solid 2–1–7 KDA on Zhang Fei.
Game 3 saw Justine “Juschie” Tan shine in a near-perfect run on Augran, finishing with a flawless 10–0–7 stat line to close out the sweep.

While Blacklist celebrated, other Filipino hopes in the tournament faced tough breaks: A.C.T. Esports Club was eliminated after a 0–3 loss to Nongshim RedForce.
Meanwhile, Boom Esports dropped to the Group C lower bracket, where they’ll now fight for survival.
Elevate, the other Philippine squad in contention, remains alive in the tournament as they are set to face Brazil’s Alpha7 Esports in the Group B lower-bracket semifinals.
