Brooke Van Sickle, Savi Davison shine as only locals among top 10 scorers in PVL Reinforced Conference

In the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference, Brooke Van Sickle and Savannah “Savi” Davison have distinguished themselves as the only local players to make the top-10 scoring list — a rare feat in a conference largely dominated by foreign reinforcements.

Based on the latest statistics, Van Sickle ranks 9th overall with 133 total points, while Davison sits in 6th place with 151 points. Their impact is all the more impressive considering that the rest of the top spots are held by high-powered imports.

Davison’s scoring surge has been a driving force behind PLDT’s strong run. On November 15, 2025, she exploded for a career-high 36 points in PLDT’s 26-28, 25-12, 25-16, 25-13 win over Chery Tiggo. She built her total on 33 attack points, plus two blocks and one ace, while also contributing 10 digs and 14 receptions to fuel her team’s climb to a 6–1 record. 

Earlier in the conference, during PLDT’s 25-19, 19-25, 25-16, 25-20 victory over Galeries Tower, she led a decisive 15-6 run in the third set, finishing with 21 points, including three kill blocks.

In a recent match against Capital1, Van Sickle contributed 21 points to help Petro Gazz edge out their rivals in a four-set win.

That two local players appear in a list otherwise dominated by foreign attackers highlights an important shift: Filipino talent, too, can keep pace in high-level, international-style reinforced competitions.
