Following their recent roster shake-up, OG is back in the Dota 2 scene with a strategic pivot into Southeast Asia, announcing the acquisition of the Filipino squad Team Aureus.
The move comes after OG parted ways with their previous lineup amid disappointing results throughout 2025, despite the presence of two-time The International champion Johan “N0tail” Sundstein.
In the organisation’s official announcement, they confirmed the all-Philippines roster and detailed their entry into the Southeast Asia (SEA) region, signalling a fresh start under the OG banner.
John “Natsumi‑” Vargas will banner the all-Filipino squad alongside Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer, Nikko “Force/Nikko” Bilocura, Timothy John “TIMS” Randrup, and Andrei “skem” Ong.

OG’s VP of esports, Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, expressed enthusiasm about the new direction and the possibility of the SEA region capturing championships.
“If the SEA region is going to finally get the championships it deserves, I’m sure that will be with OG,” he said.
“SEA always felt like home to us, and I want to thank all the SEA fans for the support that you always provided to OG,” Ceb added.
Adam “343” Shah will serve as the team’s head coach as they begin their PGL Wallachia Season 6 campaign on Saturday, Nov. 15.
