Dwight Ramos only winner in tough Wednesday for Filipinos in Japan B.League

Gilas Pilipinas guard Dwight Ramos was the only Filipino who tasted a win with the Levanga Hokkaido in the Japan B.League on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

 

Hokkaido dominated the SunRockers Shibuya, 84-58, at the Higashin Arena to improve to seventh place in the standings with a  7-3 slate.

 

Despite the win, Ramos had a slow game with only four points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

 

Meanwhile, other Filipinos in the league failed to grab wins. Bobby Ray Parks and Osaka Evessa faltered against Shimane Susanoo Magic, 82-78.

 

Parks tallied 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists as Osaka dropped to a 4-6 slate in 16th place.

Kiefer Ravena and the Yokohama B-Corsairs were blown out by the Hiroshima Dragonflies, 94-79.

 

The former Gilas guard only had six points as Yokohama dropped to 18th place with a 4-6 record.

 

The Gunma Crane Thunders fell to the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 83-79, as AJ Edu tallied 12 points, six rebounds in the loss.

 

Francis Lopez and the Fighting Eagles Nagoya suffered an 84-76 defeat against the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins.

 

The former UP Fighting Maroons standout recorded five points, four rebounds as Nagoya slid to 21st place with a 3-7 record.
