PBA games to be streamed live and free on YouTube worldwide

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), the country’s most popular sports league, has scored a major win for fans. In a move that underscores basketball’s unmatched following in the Philippines, Cignal TV announced that all PBA games will now be streamed live and free on YouTube—without delays or regional restrictions.

The initiative officially began on Friday, October 24, through Cignal’s One Sports channel. According to the network, all PBA games will be broadcast “with no delays” and “watchable worldwide,” ensuring fans across the globe can tune in without missing a moment of action.

PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial welcomed the announcement, emphasizing how it strengthens the league’s connection with its fanbase.

“It will definitely help the league and our fans get easier access to our games,” Marcial said during a media interview.

Previously, only select PBA games were streamed online, often with a 15-minute delay and limited to viewers in the Philippines due to geoblocking. The new agreement removes those barriers entirely, making the games accessible to fans everywhere.

PBA games are held every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—days when fans can now catch all the action live on YouTube.

Beyond expanding the league’s reach, the move is also expected to combat illegal streaming platforms that have charged fans hefty fees through e-wallet services. By offering free, high-quality broadcasts, Cignal and the PBA are giving fans the best—and most legitimate—way to enjoy Philippine basketball’s biggest stage.
