Roma Doromal exits game against PLDT with cramps

Capital1 Solar Energy Solar Spikers libero Roma Mae Doroma exited their game against the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Monday after suffering from stomach cramps.

During the third set, 12-14, Doromal attempted to save a loose ball and landed awkwardly on her stomach.

The former Ateneo standout was stretchered out before the Solar Spikers lost the set and the match, 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.

Doromal exited with 10 excellent digs and seven excellent receptions, while her import teammate Oleksandra Bytsenko tallied 20 points and 12 excellent receptions.

Anticipated rookie Bella Belen recorded 13 points and nine excellent digs in the losing effort.

PVL Invitational MVP Savi Davison posted 22 points, while import Anastasiia Bavykina followed with 15 points and 10 receptions.

Capital1 will next face the Nxled Chameleons at the same venue on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 4:00 p.m.
